An Apartment Therapy reviewer reported that the Cozey Atmosphere sectional’s optional storage seats provided a place to put away items during quick cleanups. The review also describes removable, washable covers, multiple configurations and a difficult assembly process; it is one reviewer’s experience, not an independent product test.
Apartment Therapy published a review of the Cozey Atmosphere modular sofa, in which writer Jamie Birdwell-Branson said its optional storage seats made quick living-room cleanups easier. The first-person account also describes washable, removable covers and a range of configurations, while noting that assembling the sectional took effort.
Birdwell-Branson chose a four-seat sectional with a corner, round arms and storage seats for a family home with two young children and a dog. The sofa was covered in cypress green corduroy. The reviewer said the configuration measured a little more than eight feet across on each side, providing room for the family to sit and stretch out.
The review says the Atmosphere can be arranged in 12 layouts and customized as a sleeper or with storage beneath the seats. It lists 14 fabric options and says replacement covers can be purchased. Birdwell-Branson described the covers as removable and washable, and found the corduroy comfortable rather than scratchy.
Delivery took seven days in the reviewer’s case. Assembly was a more demanding part of the experience: the sectional arrived in many labeled boxes, and the reviewer said fitting the fabric covers correctly was particularly tricky. Birdwell-Branson estimated that two adults without interruptions might need two or three hours to assemble it, and suggested hiring help for people who do not want to do the work themselves.
Storage Without Separate Bins
The review’s practical point is that the sofa’s optional storage turns some seat space into a place to put away household items. Birdwell-Branson said the feature was useful for quick cleanups, a potentially relevant benefit for households with children or limited closet space. The source does not specify the storage capacity, what items fit, or how many seats in the chosen configuration had storage.
The sofa also combines that option with removable, washable covers and modular layouts. Those features may appeal to shoppers weighing everyday maintenance and flexibility alongside appearance. But the account reflects one household’s use, rather than a controlled comparison or evidence that the product suits every room or family.

A Family’s Sofa Replacement
Birdwell-Branson wrote that the family was replacing an Albany Park corner sectional it had owned for nearly seven years. The reviewer said the old sofa was no longer made and that the replacement needed to be durable, stylish and easy to clean for a household with two small children and a dog. That search led to the Cozey Atmosphere collection.
The article is a product review, not an announcement of a new sofa model or a change to Cozey’s product line. Apartment Therapy says it independently selects products and may earn a commission if readers buy through its links; it also says prices were accurate when the story was published. The provided source does not give a price for the reviewer’s configuration.

Storage Capacity and Pricing
The source does not state the volume or dimensions of the storage compartments, how much weight they can hold, or exactly which configurations and seat modules include them. It also does not provide the price of the reviewed setup, current prices, warranty terms, or delivery availability by location.
Other observations are specific to Birdwell-Branson’s household and setup. The reported seven-day delivery and assembly estimate should not be treated as a guarantee for other buyers. The article does not report long-term wear testing, independent measurements of durability, or feedback from a wider group of owners.

Check the Setup Before Ordering
The article does not identify a later product announcement or a scheduled follow-up. Readers considering the sofa can check Cozey’s current listings for the available layouts, fabrics, storage options and prices, since product details may change after publication. They should also measure their room and access routes and account for the work involved in assembling a modular sectional.
For the reviewer, the next step was to use the sofa and potentially try other fabric covers later. Whether the storage remains convenient over time, and how the selected materials hold up with regular family use, is not established in the source material.
